Harris Barnes, 14, was crowned winner of the male Race To Woodhall Spa Final after shooting 44 points on the Hotchkin course at Woodhall Spa on Thursday.

The Bradley Park golfer battled his way to the top of 43 players, with an impressive 19 points on the front-nine before a superb 25 points on the back as he beat his nearest competitor by two points.
The youngster from Brooksbank School, who plays off 15, admitted: “It’s amazing! The course was playing tough today with the wind and obviously the bunkers, and the greens were rolling fast, so it was tough.
“My best moment was on the 14th where I came close to an eagle with the putt but I got the birdie and made another straight after!
“I think I’ll put the trophy on the top shelf in my bedroom for everyone to see!”
William Preen (Broadway, 22 handicap) finished in second place with 42 points. The 15-year-old’s round included a birdie on the 14th following a brilliant 240-yard five-iron shot on the par-five 14th. The Chipping Campden School pupil also bagged five pars in his round.
Ryan White (Ramsey, 14 handicap) finished in third place with 41 points. The Peterborough School student almost made a hole-in-one on the 8th as he went on to birdie three holes which included the par-five 14th and 18th holes.
