England Golf would like to extend its thanks to departing Board Members Moira Page and Sue Milner.
Having joined the Board in 2020, both Moira and Sue’s tenures have come to an end, following a successful six years respectively as Non-Executive Directors.
Moira (pictured above second from left) is a qualified chartered management accountant with a specialist knowledge of financial management and expertise in corporate governance and strategies.
A scratch golfer, she also spent two years as an assistant professional at Glen Gorse Golf Club before moving into her current profession.
Moira remains a member at Glen Gorse and has played for Leicestershire & Rutland County Golf, as well as serving two terms as Ladies’ County Captain and one spell as County President.
Moira was proud to hold the titles of County Champion and Junior County Champion in the same year and has won her County Championship on no fewer than four occasions. She is now Chair of the England Golf Trust.
Sue (pictured above second from right) retired from a career in office management where she worked for Rowntree/Nestle in York and latterly with a private high-tech firm specialising in international trade.
A keen golfer, she joined York Golf Club in 1985 and has been a long-standing club committee member and a representative voice of the Yorkshire Ladies’ County Golf Association in various roles since 2002.
Sue also currently serves on the England Golf Championship Committee and County Golf Advisory Board and is a strong advocate for women’s, girls’ and junior golf.
Her interest in golf has also taken her ‘inside the ropes’ at The Open where she has worked as a scorer on behalf of The R&A on four separate occasions.

Following a successful three-year spell, Andrew Clotworthy (first below) and Jenny Denyer (second below) have been re-elected for a further three-year term.
