England Golf will break new ground this summer as it hosts the inaugural Respect in Golf Pro-Am as part of a landmark week of activity surrounding the Women’s English Open, taking place from 6–10 July at The Manchester Golf Club.
The week will unite participation, career inspiration, community engagement and elite competition, creating one of the most comprehensive celebrations of women’s golf ever delivered in England. Designed to widen access and showcase the sport’s future, the programme will bring together players, partners, young people, and the wider community both on and off the course.
Across five days, England Golf and the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) will deliver a blend of beginner‑friendly participation sessions, junior and careers‑focused activity, networking opportunities, and tournament golf. The aim is simple: to create meaningful pathways into the sport while shining a light on the next generation of female talent.
The week will open with a dedicated day of participation and career inspiration. Sessions delivered by the Golf Foundation and England Golf — supported by LET professionals for meet‑and‑greet opportunities — will give young people and newcomers the chance to experience golf in a fun, welcoming environment.
A Careers in Golf session with a local college will introduce students to the wide range of roles and pathways across the industry, supported by a panel featuring representatives from England Golf, a golf club manager and LET professionals.
Together, they will showcase real‑world routes into the sport and inspire the next generation of talent both on and off the course. This activity forms part of England Golf’s commitment to creating a more welcoming, diverse and representative game.
At the heart of the week sits the first ever Respect in Golf Pro-Am — a flagship event celebrating progress, connection and a shared commitment to positive culture in golf. The Pro-Am will welcome a high‑profile field of celebrities, influencers and industry leaders, including Dame Denise Lewis, Billy Monger, Paul Scholes, Hannah Davies and Brian McFadden.
The day will champion the values of Respect in Golf, strengthen relationships across the sport and wider industry, and generate compelling content to inspire new audiences.
The week will culminate in three days of LETAS tournament play, bringing together some of the world’s most promising female golfers.
As England Golf stages its first‑ever women’s professional championship, the event marks a significant milestone in the organisation’s history and reinforces its commitment to creating meaningful competitive opportunities that strengthen the amateur‑to‑professional pathway.
