England Golf has named its four-player team to play in The Spirit International Amateur Championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club, Texas, from 10-15 November.
Recent US Amateur champion Jack Whaley and Tyler Weaver have been selected to represent the men, while European Ladies’ Amateur champion Charlotte Naughton and Sophia Fullbrook have been picked for the women, as England go in search of retaining their title which they won in the last event in 2024.
England also finished tied-1st in the men’s event that year thanks to the performances of Dominic Clemons and Matthew Dodd-Berry.
Since the competition began in 2001, England have won the overall title three times out of the 11 events played.

“The strength of the international field, and the unique format of the competition held over one of the most challenging golf courses in the U.S., guarantees a competitive environment for our players like no other they will experience in their early careers. In Charlotte, Sophia, Jack and Tyler we have selected a team capable of putting up the strongest defence possible following our win in 2024.”

Sophia Fullbrook, 20, Brocket Hall (Hertfordshire)

- Won the 2025 German Girls' International Amateur - becoming the first ever English winner of the event
- 3rd-place finish at 2026 German International Women's Amateur
- Finished 2nd in individual standings at 2026 European Nations Cup, helping her England team to a joint-best ever finish overall (tied-2nd)
