Women’s: Dart delivers big birdie to win at the last
Sussex’s Lexi Dart sunk an incredible 30-foot birdie putt on the final hole to be crowned the 2026 English Women’s County Champion of Champions at The National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa’s Bracken Course.
Having shot 75 (+3) on day one, Dart needed to birdie the final hole on day two to win, after Morgan Bollan (Cheshire) finished on +6 overall across her 36 holes.
Dart said: “It’s very exciting and very unexpected to win. I didn’t really have any goals coming into this other than to enjoy it, which I definitely did! It’s the biggest thing I’ve won to date.
“The first round was a bit of a struggle – my irons weren’t going so well. But my second round I hit some nice ones, kept it on the fairway and holed some putts! I almost chipped in for eagle on 14 so it was nice to have an easy birdie there, and then on 18, I just tried to play the hole. With the putt, I thought I best give it a good go and I was quite lucky it went in!
“It’s a four-hour drive home and then I’m sure we’ll do something to celebrate this week!”

Gloucestershire made it back-to-back titles as Mariella Buchanan was named the 2026 Girls' County Champion of Champions.
The England Girls' Squad star triumphed over 36 holes on Saturday to finish +2 to follow in the success of 2025 champion Neve Jeffrey.
The Bristol & Clifton product held a four-shot lead at the halfway stage with a level-par 72 in the morning, before closing out the win with 74.
Northamptonshire's Lila Bisset pushed Buchanan all the way, shooting -1 in the afternoon to finish two shots back in 2nd. Check out the final leaderboard here.
Senior Women: Surrey senior Jenny crowned national champion
The England Girls' Squad star triumphed over 36 holes on Saturday to finish +2 to follow in the success of 2025 champion Neve Jeffrey.

Surrey’s Jenny Justice won the 2026 English Senior Women’s County Champion of Champions title at The National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa.
Justice delivered a superb first round on Saturday on the Bracken Course having shot 75 (+3), and with a five-shot lead on the field, she did enough on the final day to win by the same margin despite an 82.
Sue Caley (Bedfordshire) enjoyed the round of the day on Sunday, as her 75, which included five birdies, catapulted her to a tied-2nd finish alongside Jo Morris-Bourne (Leics & Rutland). Check out the final leaderboard here.
