England Golf Men’s Squad stars Dominic Clemons and Charlie Forster are both set to turn professional, having both earned spots on the HotelPlanner Tour.

The duo will join fellow England Golf graduate, Will Hopkins, who has earned another exemption onto the tour for 2026.
Forster has had a stellar 2025 campaign, competing around the globe. The 22-year-old was part of Team International who beat the USA 35-25 in the Arnold Palmer Cup, represented Europe at the Bonallack Trophy, and was part of the GB&I team which beat Europe in the St Andrews Trophy. He also represented GB&I in the Walker Cup at Cypress Point.
Forster finished 2nd overall in the stroke play stages of the European Amateur Team Championship, and was unbeaten in all five match play games, including a crucial win on the 19th hole to secure England the bronze medal against Ireland, and helped England win the bronze medal at the World Amateur Team Championship earlier this month.
A graduate of California State University, Forster won multiple events in the USA, including the 2025 Lake Las Vegas Invitational (with his Long Beach State team winning the event), as well as the 2025 Wyoming Cowboy Classic. He also enjoyed top-10 finishes at the 2025 Big West Men’s Golf Championship and NCAA Urbana Regional.
Forster said: “I’m over the moon to get my card on the HotelPlanner Tour, it’s something all us amateurs work towards and to be able to get it through the Global Amateur Pathway is something really cool.
“I hope to keep learning and gaining valuable experience and eventually earn my DP World Tour card. I’m looking forward to the travel and seeing new places, I love exploring and playing in different countries, learning how to play in different environments, and on different grasses.
“My support team will look the same, they have helped me get to this point and I don’t think there’s any reason to change. My goal is to be one of the best players on the DP World Tour and potentially the PGA Tour and I like to set myself achievable short-term goals in order to try and help me achieve this.
“I’ve had a great time developing as part of the England Golf pathway, with my most memorable moment being at the European Amateur Team Championships, helping us win the bronze, winning my tense play-off match! It was a very long but fun week, where we played some great golf as a team and the vibes were great all week.”

Clemons, 23, graduated from the University of Alabama in 2025, having impressed across the pond with wins at the 2023 Lindenwood Invitational, the 2024 Folds of Honor Collegiate, and 2024 Daytona Beach Intercollegiate - the latter during a year where he picked up eight top-10 finishes.
The Gog Magog golfer won two out of three points to help GB&I win the 2025 St Andrews Trophy, and represented GB&I in the 2025 Walker Cup at Cypress Point. He also represented Europe in the 2025 Bonallack Trophy and played a key role in England’s 2025 Women’s & Men’s Home Internationals victory.
2024 saw the Cambridgeshire golfer book a spot at the 152nd Open at Royal Troon, after he led the qualifier at Burnham & Berrow alongside golfing superstar, Justin Rose. That came during the same year where he won the Scottish Men’s Open Championship by an astonishing 17 shots at Muirfield, and was runner-up at The R&A Amateur Championship in Ballyliffin, Ireland.
At the end of 2024, he was part of a winning England team which secured two golds (Overall and Men's) at the 2024 Spirit Invitational Amateur Golf Championship in the USA.
Clemons said: “I’m so pleased to get my tour card, I can’t wait to gain valuable experience and compete against some of the best players on the circuit. It’s going to be great to see new places and I hope I can push on to book a spot on the DP World Tour and entertain!
“My most memorable achievement with England Golf was winning the gold medal at The Spirit Invitational in the USA last year, it was special, and I’ll always be thankful to England Golf for having helped me progress to where I am today.”
