England Golf Men's Squad player Max Hopkins claimed the 85th Bernhard Langer International Amateur Championship after a one-shot victory at Berlin's G&CC Motzener See.
Hopkins, who plays out of Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire, opened with a superb 66 before adding rounds of 71 and a closing 69 to finish on 13-under-par and secure the title.
The Englishman held his nerve in a tightly-contested final round that went down to the wire. A par on the final hole ensured he finished one clear of Germany's Max Franck and Dutchman Youp Orsel.
With his win, Hopkins also secures a place in the 2027 BMW International Open at Golfclub München Eichenried.
He said: "It means so much to me, just to be able to prove to myself that I can win a tournament, especially with a DP World Tour event on the line.
"I think just throughout the day I was getting up and down from everywhere, I’d say the turning point was more in the second round by finishing with two birdies and getting myself back up there.
"I will go back home and celebrate with friends and family and have a bit of a relax before getting ready for the last event of the year in Sweden."
Elsewhere, fellow England Men's Squad Player Jake Sowden (The Oaks) finished tied-4th on 11-under-par. Check out the final leaderboard here.
