England Golf becomes first UK golf body to sign women in sport declaration

England Golf are among six finalists shortlisted for the Sport Organisation of the Year at the FEVO Sport Industry Awards.

Tuesday 13 February was a historic night for England Golf, as the governing body celebrated its 100th anniversary with the Centenary Dinner & Awards at the very place it was born – The Midland Manchester Hotel. 

The European Amateur Championship is heading to the home of England Golf in 2026. 

The UK’s market leader of indoor-providing adventure golf has teamed up with England Golf with the aim of introducing more people to the game.  

England Golf have named a 14-player squad ahead of the new season with nine new names included.

“Stepping out with Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods at The Open would be the ultimate dream,” says Yorkshire 18-year-old Josh Berry. 

We may have endured a wetter than usual summer, but 2023 has shown that the appetite for golf has still been there in England.

The finalists have today been confirmed for the 2024 England Golf Awards, sponsored by FJ.
