Wexham Park’s Mehar Ghattaura was crowned the winner of the 2024 Women’s Race To Woodhall Spa, sponsored by Your Golf Travel, after a scoring a magnificent 45 points on the world-famous Hotchkin Course at the home of England Golf.

In a strong field of 58 players, it was the 11-year-old who came out on top as she managed to fend off the competition to win by two shots.
Playing off 26, Ghattaura made a superb birdie on the par-4 17th hole and along with five pars, it was enough to see her beat Haydock Park’s Madison Rodon, who finished 2nd on countback and Petersfield’s Sarah Gibson to the title after both finished with 43 points.
For Rodon, it was a steady start, collecting 19 points in the opening nine holes, before rallying to score 24 more on the back-nine which included three consecutive pars between holes 16 and 18 to finish.
As for Gibson, playing off 34, she picked up points on all but two holes, shooting three pars on her way to also totalling 43 points. In behind those two, came Lily Smith (Gaudet Luce) in 4th with a total of 42 points after she gathered 21 points on both the front-nine and the back-nine, firing an impressive six pars across her 18-holes.
Rounding out the top five was Lisa Ausden (West Herts), who pipped Valerie Clabburn (Stratford-on-Avon) to 5th on countback after both players accumulated 41 points. View the final leaderboard.
