England Golf is delighted to reveal that Excel Sports Management has become the latest organisation to sign its Respect in Golf pledge.

Excel represents some of the best golfing talent on the planet, including the likes of Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, and recent England Golf graduate, Lottie Woad.
Excel are intimately involved in all aspects of career management, from selecting performance support staff, to managing tournament logistics and maximising brand potential.
The organisation joins the likes of golf media outlet GolfMagic, the Golf Club Managers’ Association (GCMA), the International Working Group for Women and Sport, Women in Golf Awards, Women’s Golf Lounge, and Modest! Golf Management, in pledging its commitment to ensuring everyone is treated fairly in a safe environment and feels a sense of belonging within the game of golf.
Excel Partner, Mark Steinberg, said: “Golf is one of the truly global sports that is enjoyed by many and not few. Ensuring all golfers have a safe, welcoming environment to enjoy the game is essential for the growth of the sport.
“At Excel Sports Management, we see first-hand the importance of an inclusive golf environment as we work with top young talent, developing their skills today to become Major Champions tomorrow.
“We fully support the Respect in Golf pledge and know it will have a lasting effect on the future of golf.”
England Golf Communications Director Ben White added: “Respect in Golf is something that underpins everything we do as a governing body and will be around for many years to come.
“By having the support of more organisations like Excel, we are continuing to shift the dial in terms of perceptions of golf and reaffirming that it is a game for everyone to enjoy.”
England Golf’s Respect in Golf movement has seen all 60 counties and 1735 affiliated golf clubs sign the England Golf Terms of Affiliation, with the governing body looking to drive inclusivity and accessibility within the game and stamp out discrimination.
