Crump wins back-to-back Women’s Champion of Champion titles

England Golf Girls’ Squad star Lauren Crump (above) continued her amazing season, as she defended yet another title.
The 16-year-old from Shropshire, who made it back-to-back English Girls’ Championship titles in July, was in scintillating form yet again on Sunday, as she triumphed over 36 holes at Woodhall Spa’s Bracken Course to win the English Women’s County Champion of Champions title for the second year running.
Her first round in the morning yielded six birdies in a round of -2 (70), with England Regional Squad player Daisy Lee hot on her heels – as she was at the English Girls’ Championship.
But a mesmerising second round from Crump saw the Hill Valley golfer make NINE birdies in a 6-under 66, to win the tournament by a whopping seven shots.
Lancashire’s Lee was 2nd after finishing on -1 overall, with Cornwall’s Danielle Hardwick in 3rd on +3. See the final leaderboard here.

Gloucs' Jeffery jumping for joy with Girls' title

Gloucestershire's Neve Jeffery (above) was named the 2025 Girls' County Champion of Champions after finishing on +2 through 36 holes at Woodhall Spa's Bracken Course on Saturday.
The 17-year-old shot a brilliant 2-under in the morning before her 4-over in the afternoon was enough to see her edge Cumbria's Rebecca Wildey by a single shot.
Jeffery was five shots clear after the morning round but managed to hold her nerve with pars down the final three holes in the afternoon to seal victory.
Yorkshire's Molly Campbell and Lincolnshire's Abigail Scott were a further shot back on +4 in tied-3rd, while Lancashire's Daisy Lee came 5th on +5. Check out the final leaderboard here.
No wobble for Wheble who wins Senior Women's title at Woodhall

No wobble for Wheble who wins Senior Women's title at Woodhall

Anne Wheble (Kent, above) held her nerve to shoot the joint-best round of the tournament on Sunday, as her 73 (+1) was enough to secure the Senior Women's County Champion of Champions title at Woodhall Spa Golf Club's Bracken Course.
Wheble led the way alongside Jackie Foster (Hertfordshire) after day one on Saturday, with the pair both having scored 76 (+4), but it was Wheble who shone on Sunday to win by three shots ahead of Foster and Leicestershire & Rutland's Joanne Morris-Bourne, who both finished on +8 overall.
Morris-Bourne did mount a late charge on Sunday with three birdies in four holes from 14-17, but Wheble held on for victory after finishing with a total of +5 across the two days. See the final leaderboard here.
